First Horde In Our New Home | Undead Legacy Live Defense
FIELD LOG 005 Deepwell Alpha survived its first major migration. The Burnt Forest officially has an operational hole in the ground, and Deepwell Alpha has been expanded in preparation for Phase Two. We now have a minibike cobbled together with duct tape and prayer. I setup redundant electric fences protecting the fighting position, and most importantly there’s a spa for morale and recovery between expeditions. Next, I’m gonna need nitrate and other resources from the Burnt Forest so we can establish farming at Alpha. That way we can start making the food supply less dependent on whatever survived inside these long expired cans. Another migration is approaching, which means the new defensive position is about to get its first proper field test. I’m reasonably confident it’ll hold. I was also reasonably confident last time too, which is somewhat less reassuring. WHAT IS PROJECT DEEPWELL? Project Deepwell is a narrative-driven *7 Days to Die 3.1 survival playthrough* built around underground base building and one major discovery: *the infected do not dig.* Playing as EKO, we'll build a network of self-sustaining underground facilities throughout Sector 17, recover resources, work with isolated trader outposts, and expand Deepwell Alpha into a functioning headquarters. But underground doesn't mean safe. Infection is accelerating, storms are becoming more frequent, and massive horde migrations no longer follow a reliable schedule. Undead Legacy: Fresh Start — New World, No Mistakes (Live)
FIELD LOG 004 Deepwell Alpha survived its first major migration. The primary fighting position was a disaster. They breached it twice, burned through most of my supplies, and nearly added lead engineer to the dinner menu. But I did manage to make a makeshift fallback that held, but we need those electric fences and a better retreat plan. I'm recording this from Trader Joel's lobby while another storm moves through the burnt forest. The infected are heavier out here and the infection seems to progress faster than what I've documented around Alpha.
