We're heading out to fight our first boss — Thomas Richards — and then pushing into the next biome to unlock iron, upgrade the ship, and start the next chapter of progression. Last Stream Recap: We jumped back in with a major base upgrade — expanding our starter hut into a full coastal build with crafting stations, storage, and a proper dock. From there we set sail toward Tortuga, getting constantly sidetracked by naval combat: taking down gunboats and haulers, boarding ships for loot, and learning (the hard way) how punishing boarding fights can be. Along the way we unlocked new factions, sold off loot, upgraded gear, and picked up new quests — eventually reaching Tortuga and discovering multiple faction systems, better gear paths, and the next stage of progression. Windrose - We're Picking a Fight With the First Boss
Last stream we pushed deep into the jungle, cleared enemy camps, and rescued ourselves a crew. We found a wrecked ship, fought through some brutal stamina-draining battles (yes, there were deaths), and somehow managed to launch our first vessel and test out naval combat for the first time. Oh — and a mysterious artifact and a "not-so-dead" situation are starting to raise some serious questions about what's actually going on in this world. Between streams I finished up the remaining island quests and built out a proper base — there was a lot of mining involved. Also took the time to upgrade our ship and get the armor sorted so we're not going into Tortuga looking like castaways. In this stream we will be heading to Tortuga for the first time — grinding quests, exploring the port, and hopefully figuring out the trading system so we can buy and sell our way into something worth having. Windrose - We Have a Ship, Now What?
Last stream we spent our first day in Windrose learning the basics — gathering resources, figuring out the crafting systems, and building out a starter base to survive the night. We got our bearings on the island, cleared some local threats, and started unlocking the core mechanics that'll keep us alive in this pirate survival world. In this stream we will be doing a full gear upgrade push — better weapons, better armor, and better tools — while exploring new areas to unlock recipes and find our footing on the high seas. The big goal is to get a ship of our own and start recruiting crew, but we'll see how far the Windrose economy lets us push before our luck runs out. This is it — the final stream in this studio. After this, we’re tearing down the bar and packing everything up to move. We’re running Twitch integration, Horde Night, and raising money for Extra Life while I share highlights from the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Elevate conference. I'm Tearing Down the Studio AND the Bar After This — Final Night, Final Horde, No Regrets
Hey folks — last stream turned into a full scramble to get the new horde base online. What started as a clean build session quickly became survival mode with nonstop wandering hordes, chucks, and pressure the entire time. We rushed the design, got one side functional, and somehow… it held on horde night. Barely, but it held. Tonight, we take that foundation and do it right. We’re finishing the second half of the base, reinforcing critical pillars up to steel, and dialing in the design so it can actually survive long-term. At the same time, we’re expanding the run — building a gyrocopter, unlocking the wasteland, and pushing into higher-tier quests. We’re also switching things up again: Fortitude primary with Intellect support — tankier, smarter, and built for what’s coming next. Plan for the stream: • Respec into Fortitude (primary) + Intellect • Finish the second half of the horde base • Reinforce pillars and key structure to steel • Build and prep the gyrocopter • Unlock and begin questing in the wasteland The base survived once. Did 2.6 make the Wasteland Impossible? | Fortitude + Intellect
Last stream was supposed to be a clean Fortitude build session. It was not that. Wandering hordes, multiple chucks, and a bear showed up before we could get anything done. We scrapped the plan, geared into a punch-focused build, and went headfirst into a brutal Tier 5 POI that turned into a nonstop brawl from start to finish. Near-deaths, heavy resource burn, and constant pressure the entire way through. We survived, walked out with solid loot, and came away with a much clearer picture of what the horde base actually needs to be. Tonight, we build it. We are switching to Agility Only, with Strength allowed as a secondary tree — the chat made a call and we're running with it. The foundation is already in. Now comes the hard part. The plan for this stream: • Finish the walls and establish the fighting position • Install blade traps, dart traps, and electrical fences • Gather the concrete and steel needed to reinforce and complete the structure • Get the base finished before horde night arrives This is a race. The horde does not care whether we are ready. We either build fast enough or we find out exactly what happens when we don't. What would you prioritize — traps first or reinforcing the walls?
