Project Deepwell is a narrative-driven **7 Days to Die 3.1 survival playthrough** built around underground base building and one major discovery: **the infected do not dig.** Playing as EKO, we'll build a network of self-sustaining underground facilities throughout Sector 17, recover resources, work with isolated trader outposts, and expand Deepwell Alpha into a functioning headquarters. I also pushed back into the wasteland and came home with better gear and a pile of electrical and mechanical parts. The wasteland is still dangerous, but better equipment and knowing when to back off made a difference. At this point, survival isn't the problem it used to be. The safe haven has supplies, defenses, farms, and working horde bases in two biomes. What it still doesn't have is a finished Beacon. I've started framing the tower above the main crafting building, and if this place is supposed to guide survivors to safety, it's time it actually looked the part.
